Here goes. The whole idea of creating a blog is somewhat revolting to me. Maybe more accurately I could say it is slightly off-putting, but the other sounds so much more dramatic. It's pretentious. It is pretentious to think that I can get open my laptop or phone, the way anyone else can, type in some words, probably expressing the same thoughts that so many people have, but that for some reason it will be worth while for others to read it. Maybe that's not the point? Anyway, this isn't my first choice for writing avenues, but it has been suggested to me by more than one person, on more than one occassion.
"If you really want to write, get yourself a blog."
Everyone always says "blog" like it is a foreign word, speaking slow, like if they go too quickly no one will know exactly what they said.
I really want to write.
I saw a friend with one of these bad boys. He'd been posting them on Facebook. Doesn't everyone? I found myself reading them, and loving them too. Thanks for the inspiration Matty--
Like I said, here goes. Some of these are sure to be ramblings, so of these are sure to bore you and yours to tears (you can stop at anytime, if you [whoever"you" means] are even there). Some though, will hopefully evolve into literary gems. That's the idea.
I'm jumping on this blog train, 'cause I will write.
